Clocks

The clocks go back very shortly here in the UK, which can only mean one thing, winter is almost upon us. I’m not very keen on autumn and winter, though I do like New Years and spring and summer. Of course the bonus with the clocks situation is an extra hour in bed in the mornings. Normally I’d relish it but as I’m not working anyway it won’t make much of a difference. Perhaps before long though I’ll have found employment again and will be able to enjoy the extra hour fully.  This year I keep meaning to go out and take some photos of the autumn leaves and try and capture the general colours of the season. I was going to do it today, but I got completely drenched (again) as I wandered round in the rain trying to find a post office which was open for me to post my application for a job as a night porter in a hotel. I eventually found one, but by the time it gets there because of the postal strikes the job may well have gone. I guess I’ll just have to keep my fingers crossed that it hasn’t. Thanks for reading.
